Infusion Unit

Infusion therapy involves the administration of medication intravenously (through noticeable veins on your arms) It is prescribed when a patient’s condition cannot be treated effectively by oral medications or the only medication available is in liquid form requiring its administration through veins.

Health issues commonly requiring infusion therapy include antibiotics, hydration, pain management, and cancer chemotherapy.

The reason KMG introduced this unit was to address the potential needs of our patients and patients receiving therapy from another health care provider. Very often patients find it difficult to return to their primary care physician due to distance from their residence to the treating hospital or clinic or due to long waiting hours that is dependent on the appointments made.

At Kalson Medical Group our goal is to enhance the quality of life for individuals facing these types of health challenges. That is why we created an Infusion unit for our patients.

All Non- KMG patients requiring this service will need the approval of their treating physician/s and must present a referral from their physicians to be presented at Kalson Medical Group. Kalson Medical Group may accept verbal approval in special circumstances from your physician on condition that your physician submits a referral after.

Our patients now have the convenience of personalized care in a warm, comforting environment and a compassionate staff and skilled clinicians.
